Where is the Rink located?
The rink is located at 401 Park Drive in the Fenway, Boston, Massachusetts.
Where can I park?
Please head to 401 Park Drive in Boston. Upon arrival, follow signs on Park Drive to the entrance to our parking garage, located on P1. There are also several bike racks and direct access from the MBTA Fenway Station. for additional information please email skate@therink401park.com

How long can I skate?
We ask that skaters stay on the ice for no longer than 60 minutes so that all ticket holders have the opportunity to skate.
Can I rent skates?
Skate rentals are available from youth size 4, to adult size 15. For any size below a 12 Junior, we provide the option of strapping on blade skates that go over toddler shoes. Rental price is $7.00
Can I purchase skates?
REI co-op Boston offers skates for both adults and kids. You can connect with the REI Boston store team to learn more and get fitted for ice skates in store or visit REI online (while supplies last). Click here for REI co-op Boston store information.
Where can I sharpen my skates?
REI co-op (Boston location only) now offers free ice skate sharpening services* for co-op members. Whether new to the co-op or already a member(thanks!), member benefits are the best way to experience REI co-op. Your $30 membership never expires - pay just once, enjoy forever. Are there age restrictions?
Skaters of all ages are welcome to enjoy The Rink. For skaters 18 and under, we require a parent or guardian present on the 401 premises while the minor skates.
Can my child wear a helmet?
Of course, extra protection is always encouraged. We do not rent helmets, but please feel free to bring your own. The decision to wear a helmet should be made by the skater at the time they decide to come to the rink. Just as they decide whether to bring a jacket or gloves, they need to decide if a helmet is needed.
Are skate trainers available?
Ice skate trainers are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Ice skating trainers are tools to aid a skater who needs a little help staying on their feet as they make their way around the rink.
Do you close due to inclement weather?
If heavy rain, severe storm conditions or unseasonably warm temperatures are expected, The Rink may close. Closures will be given with adequate notice when possible at therink401park.com. In the event of a rink closure, all ticket purchasers will be notified by email and receive an automatic refund.
Tickets
Can I purchase a ticket on-site?
Yes, tickets may be purchased at the rink, but quantities are limited. We recommend that you purchase timed tickets in advance to ensure your desired skate time is availible.
Do you offer gift cards to The Rink?
No, we do not offer gift cards.
AMENITIES
Do you have storage lockers?
There are storage lockers available inside the skate tent. There are no locks available on-site, but skaters are permitted to bring their own. Otherwise, we encourage guests to leave valuables at home.
Is there food and drink available?
Yes, there are several food and drink options surrounding The Rink, including Trillium Brewing and Time Out Market Boston.
Are there bathrooms available?
Yes, there are bathrooms on site.
Do you have a Lost and Found?

What is the smoking policy?
We do not allow smoking or vaping at The Rink. Guests will need to use the designated public smoking areas outside of the facility.

Does The Rink host special events?

How can I book a private event?
Yes! The Rink is the perfect winter venue for holiday parties, corporate gatherings, birthday parties, and more. The Rink is available for private rentals and events on select dates, please contact skate@therink401park.com.
